1) Pupils of forms 1-4 of comprehensive education institutions, registered within the administrative territory of Riga city; pupils of forms 1-4 of comprehensive education institutions, registered outside the administrative territory of Riga city, if their place of residence is declared within the administrative territory of Riga city.

2) Both parents of a family with six or more children below the age of 18 or children aged 18-24 years studying at full-time departments of comprehensive education institutions, vocational education institutions, vocational basic education institutions, vocational secondary education institutions or higher education institutions, if the parents have declared their main place of residence within the administrative territory of Riga city.

3) Minor orphans and children left without parent’s care living in foster families, under guardianship, in children care institutions or studying in comprehensive or vocational education institutions.

4) Disabled persons of the 1st and 2nd group, disabled children or persons accompanying a disabled person of the 1st group or a disabled child* If passengers of these categories have no personalised e-tickets, they have to take a “zero tariff” ticket from the driver.

5) Victims of political repressions and participants of the national resistance movement who have declared their place of residence within the administrative territory of Riga city.

6) Persons who permanently reside in long-term social care and social rehabilitation institutions of Riga city, where they receive social care services paid by Riga municipality.

7) Persons above the age of 75 who have declared their place of residence within the administrative territory of Riga city.

8) Non-working age pensioners below the age of 75 who have declared their place of residence within the administrative territory of Riga city.

9) Disabled persons of the 3rd group with impaired vision and hearing capabilities below the age of 75 who have declared their place of residence within the administrative territory of Riga city.

10) Participants of eliminating the consequences of the accident at Chernobyl nuclear power plant below the age of 75 who have declared their place of residence within the administrative territory of Riga city.

The discount is applied to one-month tickets only!

5) Teachers of comprehensive education institutions, interests education institutions, preschool education institutions, professional sports schools, music and arts schools, for whom the above institutions are the main workplace. The discount is applied to one-month workday tickets for one type of transport!
