If you use public transportation services on an everyday basis and usually purchase a monthly pass, you, too, can get an E-Ticket by filling out a special application form. It can be received from Rīgas Satiksme client service centres, ticket sales locations, and the Internet.
1. Download the form from the Internet or receive one from the Rīga Satiksme client services centres or ticket offices.
2. Fill out the form.
3. Attach a photograph (3x4 cm) that has been taken of you during the last year’s time, one that is against a light background.
Should you not have an appropriate photograph, you can have one made for free at Rīgas Satiksme client service centre at Brīvības Street 191.
4. Attach the photo to the form and send it to Rīgas Satiksme, or submit it to Rīgas Satiksme client service centre.
5. You will receive your personalised smartcard E-Ticket by mail.
6. Before using the E-Ticket, you must activate it and supplement it at any existing ticket location or any one of the Rīgas Satiksme client service centres.
