How and where an e-ticket can be reloaded?
A: You can reload the card with the necessary type of ticket in ticket vending machines and ticket trade outlets located in Riga city, but holders of personalised cards can reload them also in the Internet.
Only those passengers enjoying 100% discounts should not reload their cards:
100% discount:
1. pensioners above the age of 75 who have declared their place of residence in Riga;
2. parents of 6 or more children who have declared their place of residence in Riga;
3. pupils of forms 1– 4 in Riga comprehensive schools, where applying for e-tickets will be centralised;
4. persons who permanently reside in Riga social care centres, where they receive social care services paid by Riga municipality;
5. victims of political repressions who have declared their place of residence in Riga.
Is a non-personalised e-ticket available free of charge?
A: No, you can get free of charge only a personalised e-ticket, after filling in an application form. The price of a non-personalised e-ticket is LVL 2. When a passenger stops using an e-ticket, he/she can return it to a customer service centre in a technical and functional order and get his/her deposit back.
How can I pay for transport services for a longer period?
A: You can reload your card with the most suitable type of tickets: 5, 10 or 20 trips and all one-month tickets available so far. You can load up to eight different types of tickets into your card, the use of which are regulated by e-ticket usage regulations. Smart cards can be reloaded at news stands, market with e-ticket symbol, in ticket trade outlets and terminals of Rīgas satiksme, as well as in special ticket vending machines.
If I have paid for several products in my e-ticket, how can I be sure that money will be spent on the product I have selected, not another one?
A: The ticket which is the most advantageous for one trip (one-month ticket) will be registered first. A one-month ticket for one route must be registered in the route it is intended for, or the basic route.
