Can I use my one-month ticket for one route in the same type public transport of another route within the limits of overlapping segments?

A: Yes, you can.

But you should remember the following:

1)       the first registration of the ticket must be in the basic route;

2)       you should always register your trip when entering a means of transport of the basic route;

3)       if you take a means of transport of the same type serving another route, within a segment where this route overlaps with yours,  you have not to register your ticket, because the card reader will always give you a red signal or register another product loaded into the card;

4)       controllers will check your ticket and will see your basic route; you will not be fined when being within another route’s segment overlapping with your basic route.

If you abide by the above ticket usage regulations, you can surely buy a ticket in advance, but if you register your trip within overlapping segments of two routes, a new ticket will be registered.

A: Yes, just like before, a one-month ticket enables you to use public transport an unlimited number of times within one month limits. In the new e-ticket system, a one-month ticket is valid for one month starting from its first validation.

Residents ask whether they will be able to use the public transport an unrestricted number of times, as it is the case now. What makes them to ask this question is that with e-ticket they will have to register every trip in public transport. By registering his/her trip a passenger confirms having paid for the trip, and in case of ticket control he/she will not be fined for an unregistered, i.e. unpaid trip.
