- Passengers who care authorised to ride on public transportation for free do not need to activate their E-Tickets.
- The ticket can be activated and supplemented at ticket machines and ticket sales locations in Rīga, as well as on the Internet (only for those who have a personalised E-Ticket).
- The electronic card reader on public transportation vehicles will warn you if you need to supplement your smartcard or if the number of trips for which you have paid with the smartcard is coming to an end.
