The personalised E-Ticket

  • made of plastic;
  • valid for 5 years;
  • attached to one holder only;
  • contains holder’s data – photo, name. surname;
  • can be used by its holder only;
  • compulsory for passengers using fare discounts in public transport, except those who enjoy 100 % discount granted by the state;(except the disabled persons of the 1st and the 2nd group) everybody can apply for this type of ticket in a customer service centre;
  • in case of loss, it can be blocked and restored without losing the products loaded to it;
  • it can be reloaded in ticket vending machines, press trade outlets, Rīgas satiksme ticket trade outlets and in the Internet;
  • one-month travel cards and tickets for a certain number of days can be loaded.
Nepersonalizētais e-talons

The non-personalised E-Ticket

  • made of plastic;
  • valid for 5 years;
  • does not include personal data  – can be used by several passengers;
  • you can buy it at Rīgas satiksme ticket trade outlets after paying a deposit of 2.00 lats;
  • it is necessary for those who use public transport on a regular basis, including those who buy one-month travel cards and do not want to use personalised e-tickets;
  • if lost, cannot be blocked or restored;
  • it can be reloaded in ticket vending machines, press trade outlets, Rīgas satiksme ticket trade outlets;
  • one-month travel cards and tickets for a certain number of days can be loaded.

The smart ticket

  • made of cardboard, with a microcircuit chip;
  • cannot be reloaded;
  • you can buy time tickets/tickets for a certain number of trips;
  • you can buy it in ticket vending machines, press trade outlets, Rīgas satiksme ticket trade outlets;
  • it is convenient for those who do not use Riga public transport on a regular basis, including Riga visitors.

The paper ticket

  • paper ticket is sold by public transport drivers and is more expensive;
  • it is valid for one trip only, in the vehicle where it has been bought;
  • pet tickets are sold only by public transport drivers;  
  • paper tickets are meant for those passengers who have not reloaded their smart cards in time;
  • it will be the most convenient solution for passengers who use public transport rarely.
